Colorado Rapids

Based in the Denver suburb of Commerce City, Colorado, Rapids are one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its inception
Founded in 1996 Colorado won the MLS Cup for the first time in 2010, its only honor of distinction.
Colorado played its home games at the Mile High Stadium in Denver from 1996 to 2001, and then at Invesco Field at Mile High in 2002, before moving to their current home, Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, prior to the beginning of the 2007 season
As of 2013, the Rapids are the only team to never have had a paid shirt sponsor on the front of their jerseys
